Family and friends of Prisoners

What most people forget it is also the family and friends of prisoners who also suffer, having you loved ones sent away can be a traumatic. Having some one you love in prison causes a number of problems, including:-

• How do you tell the children
  • what do you tell them
• Depression
• Communication difficulties
• What do you tell your neighbors
• Relationship problems
• How you deal with prison staff
• Being able to visit or not being able to visit

One of the most common issue for prisoner families is how do you keep the family together or whether you should keep the family together.

Each and every prisoner has a family, some have husbands or Wives, Girl friends or boy friends but the one thing they all have in common is that the are human and should be treated as such. (see the law).

In our Forum we have an area where you can talk to other people about your experiences and find out what to do, where to find help.

It does not matter who is a pagan yourself or the prisoner we want to help, if you are unsure what paganism is we can explain. If your partner or child is in prison and you are not sure what to do ask. This is our community these are our brothers and sisters and we need to show support.

Hopefully by creating this site you will no longer feel alone it is difficult for everyone those inside and those out side. Together we can help each other.
